Orlando Bloom: "I am not gay!!"
Sir Ian McKellen and Orlando Bloom
Hunk Orlando Bloom lashed out at Lord of the Rings co-star Sir Ian McKellen at a film awards this week after the gay actor said he wanted to kiss him.
McKellen had joked at London's British Independent Film Awards on Tuesday night that he was only attending in the hope of smooching hunky Bloom.
However, when the 26-year-old arrived and was asked about the cheeky remarks he failed to see the funny side. He coldly shot back, "I'm not gay! I've got a girlfriend!"
Orlando Bloom's Fake Chest Hair
Brit movie heart-throb Orlando Bloom has been forced to wear a chest wig in his latest film - because his torso is too bare. He has been asked to wear a chest wig because he lacks manly chest hair.
The Troy actor is currently filming his role as Balian Of Ibelin in Ridley Scott's forthcoming film Kingdom Of Heaven about the 12th century crusades. Make-up artists on set have applied Bloom's thorax with fake chest-hair to make him appear more credible as a blacksmith-turned-warrior. Scott felt that Orlando needed some fake chest hair to make him look more masculine (ouch!) and convincing as a battling blacksmith.
A film set insider says, "His chest rug is probably the best special effect in the picture."
